The Royal Mail Special Un-Guaranteed Delivery with forged signature at wrong address!!!

I am sharing here my experience with Royal Mail and their Special Delivery Service.  I had applied for my UK provisional license with DVLA in the third week of March. As part of the application process, I had to send the original BRP (it’s a card that is also a visa that permits my legal entry to UK as a student ) to DVLA office along with the duly filled application form. I had opted for the premium Special Delivery service of Royal Mail which guarantees delivery on the very next day of the posting by 1 pm. I opted for this service because I did not want to take any risks. The service offers an in-person delivery along with pictures and signatures of the recipient of the mail. Timpson - A great service by great people!

I want to share something really special that happened to me today at a Timpson store in Glasgow, Scotland. For those who aren’t familiar, Timpson is a well-known shop in the UK that offers all sorts of services like key cutting, shoe repairs, passport photos, and engraving. They’re all about making customers happy, and let me tell you, they truly live up to it! So, there I was at the Timpson store near Tesco Extra in St Rollox in the evening. I needed their service but realized that I was short of money. When I was about to leave the store, something amazing happened. I asked the staff at the counter, Jay, about the prices, and he kindly offered to give me a discount. But here’s the kicker: when he finished the job, Jay refused to take money even when I insisted! He told me it was because of something his CEO, Mr. James Timpson, always says: "Help the customer and make them happy." Jay said I was the lucky customer that day, and he didn’t want to charge me for the service....
