Client Challenge - Headstronger with Fantastic 5!!!

Image
Last week, I got an opportunity to participate in a Client Challenge competition organized by Strathclyde Business School as a team. We participated as a team of five, calling ourselves Fantastic 5!!  The client was Headstrong – A wee company based in Glasgow working in therapeutic counselling for young people. Or are we missing key opportunities to sign longer contracts, to access better funding sources, and to build some security into the future of this part of the business. Visit to NMIS Scotland

Image
Last week, we had the chance to visit the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS) on a field trip organized by the Strathclyde Business School, University of Strathclyde. NMIS is at the forefront of manufacturing innovation, boosting productivity, growing the economy, and developing a skilled workforce. They collaborate with businesses across Scotland and beyond, driving sustainable communities through advanced R&D. The visit reminded me of my time with ASAP Kerala and the Industry on Campus (IoC) initiative. Through IoC, we had established mini-FabLab’s in government polytechnic colleges in Kerala, India, to nurture student's entrepreneurial skills and to carve a culture of ‘Earn while you learn’.  Just like IoC, NMIS is dedicated to supporting the next generation of makers, engineers, and inventors. I appreciate NMIS for their incredible efforts and commitment to innovation and education. I would like to thank Strathclyde Business School for this exciting opportuni...

Volunteering at Tectonic Night Summit - Glasgow

Image
I had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at the Tectonic Night Summit in Glasgow, and it was an experience I will cherish forever. I am immensely grateful to Caro, Nick, and Dec for providing me with this amazing opportunity. Their guidance and support were invaluable, and I feel privileged to have been part of such a transformative event. The Tectonic Night Summit is a unique blend of a conference and a live community gathering, celebrating digital innovation and community. As the official ‘market square’ evening event for Glasgow Tech Week, it brought together an eclectic mix of exhibitors, interactive digital experiences, business growth and mentorship office hours, keynotes, business sessions, music, performers, and an inclusive startup pitch showcase. This event truly encapsulates the continuous evolution of innovation, relationships, and collaboration across various sectors. Working with an extraordinary team of volunteers, I had the pleasure of supporting startup enthusiast...
