When I joined Tesco as a Christmas temp a year ago, John welcomed me on my first day. He introduced me to other colleagues and showed me around the store. He taught me how to use the in-house tools and was always there for me whenever I needed him—whether it was when I didn’t understand a thick Scottish accent or when I had to deal with unfriendly customers! Two days ago, John had his last working day at Tesco. I wanted to be with him on his final day, so I requested overtime. You will always be missed, brother! I would like to wish you all the very best in the USA. You are a good man, and I am sure you will have a great future ahead. Thank you so much for being a great mentor and a wonderful friend.
